Orders and delivery
How long will my order take to arrive?
We pack orders within 1-2 working days; orders placed before 17:00 GMT start processing the same working day. Delivery then takes 5-6 working days, so most orders arrive within 6-8 working days of being placed.
Which couriers do you use?
We ship with Royal Mail, DPD and FedEx. The courier is chosen based on the size and weight of your parcel and your postcode.
Do you offer free delivery?
Yes. Delivery is free on orders of £50 or more. Orders under £50 have a flat £10 delivery charge.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Not at the moment. We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only.
How can I track my parcel?
When your order is dispatched, we email you a tracking number and a link to follow your parcel.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact us as soon as possible on info@pengillylandscapes.co.uk. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will do our best to change or cancel it.
Returns and refunds
What is your returns policy?
You can return unused items in their original condition within 30 days of delivery. Email us first so we can give you return instructions.
Who pays for return postage?
If the item arrived damaged, faulty or is not what you ordered, we cover return postage. For any other return, the return postage is paid by you.
How long do refunds take?
We process refunds within 5 working days of receiving and checking your return. Your bank may take a further 5-10 working days to show the money in your account.
Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major debit and credit cards and Shop Pay.
Are prices shown in pounds and including VAT?
Yes. All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
Is checkout secure?
Yes. Checkout runs on Shopify with SSL encryption, and we never see or store your full card details.
Choosing the right tool
What is the difference between bypass and anvil pruning tools?
Bypass tools cut like scissors, with two blades passing each other, which gives a clean cut on live green stems. Anvil tools press a single blade onto a flat surface and suit dry or dead wood.
Which weeder is best for patios and block paving?
A crack weeder with a thin L-shaped blade is designed to reach into joints between slabs and hook out weeds and moss. A long-handled version saves kneeling.
How do I keep my pruning tools in good condition?
Wipe blades clean after each use, dry them thoroughly and apply a light coat of oil before storing. Keep tools somewhere dry to prevent rust.
Can I get advice before I buy?
Of course. Email info@pengillylandscapes.co.uk or call +44 1372 456700 and tell us what job you are tackling.
