This Payment Policy explains how you can pay for orders placed with Pengilly Landscapes at www.pengillylandscapes.co.uk.
1. Accepted payment methods
We accept:

Debit and credit cards – major card brands, as shown at checkout

Shop Pay – Shopify's accelerated checkout, which lets you save your details for faster future orders
The card brands available to you are displayed on the checkout page. We do not accept cash on delivery, cheques or bank transfers for online orders.
2. Currency and pricing
All prices are shown and charged in pounds sterling (GBP). Prices include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges, if any, are shown before you complete payment.
If your card is issued outside the UK, your bank may apply its own exchange or foreign transaction fees. These are set by your card provider, not by us.
3. When you are charged
Payment is taken in full when you place your order. Your order is confirmed once payment has been authorised, and you will receive a confirmation email at the address you provide.
4. Payment security
Our checkout is provided by Shopify and protected with SSL encryption. Card payments are handled by PCI DSS-compliant payment processors. Pengilly Landscapes never sees or stores your full card number.
Your bank may ask you to confirm a payment using 3D Secure (for example, a code sent to your phone or a prompt in your banking app). This is a standard UK fraud protection step.
5. Declined or failed payments
If your payment is declined, your order will not be placed. Please check that your card details and billing address are correct, or contact your card issuer. You can also try a different payment method.
6. Order checks
To protect our customers, we may review orders that our payment provider flags for possible fraud. In rare cases we may contact you to verify details or cancel the order and refund any payment in full.
7. Refunds to your payment method
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Once processed, refunds usually appear within 5-10 working days, depending on your bank. See our Return and Refund Policy for details.
